7 Aug 2007 - Sustrans & CTC Wednesday Wheelers join forces

Wednesday Wheelers and Sustrans

A 'New Labour' Force has been created from a few of those who accept that some (a lot) of the Sustrans Cycle Routes around York are in need of some TLC (and a bit more).

Rather than just sit back and complain, they have decided to do something about it and do a few hours once a month to help restore the paths to a more acceptable level. Start 9.30am until about noon (ish).

If you would like to help please contact P.G. ( 07703 474437.

Dates Help Required:
Tuesday 3rd July
Route 65 South near the Golden Ball, under A64 By-pass.
Tuesday 24th July
Stamford Bridge, the wood and railway approach.
Tuesday 21st August
Riccall, start at Northern end of village and work towards Escrick.

Note:
A spade and/or brush would be useful if you can bring one, otherwise, just yourself. Bring a flask of coffee and some 'snap'. Plenty of refreshment and chat breaks are allowed.
